Elexio empowered us with the tools to handle updates ourselves & effectively reach out!!
About ten years ago a wonderful team of volunteers set up a website for us; however, as time and the volunteers moved on and we realized our need for a good site under internal control. The problem was little money and no one on staff who knew anything about websites.
We saw an article in Loving and Caring's newsletter about Elexio's introductory offer for pregnancy resource centers and recognized it as an answer to prayer! We were the first PRC to take advantage of Elexio's offer and have been extremely pleased. We wanted total control of the content so Elexio's package with tutorials was just what we needed, and working with Tom Kirk was great. With our old web site we invested quite a bit of time initially in setting up the pages and the content, but now our updates are done in a matter of minutes.
We've had very positive feedback from people of all ages and walks of life. One client said she went all the way through it before calling us for an appointment. When we talk with callers seeking an abortion who are reluctant to commit to an appointment, we are thankful to have a great site to which we can refer them.
Our site includes a number of links to other great resources. Because of the nature of our work, we will not know the true impact of our presence on the internet this side of eternity—we just know we need to be there for women who are concerned about their situation and are perhaps considering the unthinkable: an abortion. We pray that every visit to our site is a link in the chain that ultimately leads to a transformed life through the resurrection power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
