Q: On what mobile phones does Amp Wave work?
A: Amp Wave works on iPhone/iPad/iTouch and Android devices.
Q: How do I install Amp Wave?
A: On your iPhone, iPad or iTouch or Andriod device:
1. Open the phone's web browser (e.g., Safari on the iPhone) and go to a similar link your church uses for Amp Pulse which would be http://mychurch.elexiopulse.com/m [Notice the letter 'm' at the end.] Replace mychurch with the domain name we gave you when you ordered Amp Fusion. If you aren't sure what it is, just send an email to support@elexio.com and ask "What's our church's link for Amp Wave?"
2. You will see the following screen. Follow the onscreen prompts to install.

3. Login using the same credentials as you use for Amp Fusion, Pulse, Touch, or Vibe
4. Select the contact you want to look at by either scrolling or searching for a name
5. While you are on the contact screen just press the buttons to Call, Text, Email or Locate the address on Google maps.
Q: I'm having trouble installing the app on my Android device. What gives?
Go to the Android app market and you'll see a notification that Amp Wave didn't install because the system defaults to not allow non-Market apps to install. Checked the box to allow non-Market apps, and it will install right away.
Q: When I start the app I just get a blank black screen and nothing else happens.
Here's how to fix it:
For Android
1. Go to Settings – Applications – Manage Applications
2. Find Amp Wave
3. Clear Data
for iOS
1. Go to Settings – Safari
2. Clear Cookies and Data
Q: Some of my people are missing. How do I see all of them?
A: By default, Amp Wave will show you the same people as those listed in the Church Directory--which is everyone with a check in the box "Include in Directory" on the People screen in Amp Fusion. AND we are limiting it to the Status Grouping called "Include in Mobile App". You can edit which status codes are included in this group on the Administration--Codes screen in Amp Fusion. Also your system administrator can adjust your security role and give you permission to view ALL people marked as private, not just the ones included in the directory. To adjust the security, in Amp Fusion, on the Home Page, click on Common Tasks, Manage Security Role Details. Select the new Category of security permissions called Amp Wave. Press the button to enable Viewing for Private Contacts.
The Statuses have to have the “Include in Mobile App” checked to show up. (Administration, Codes, Statuses)
Q: Is the data stored locally on my phone and thus available offline?
A: No. Information is retrieved in real time so that you always have the latest info. This means you will need to have a good signal from your phone company or be connected via WiFi. The size of your church database could impact performance as well. So if you are getting poor performance, try enabling WiFi on your phone and see if it improves significantly. If not, let us know and we may be able to suggest ways to optimize performance like including less statuses.
